Founded in 1884 and famous for its fantastic cup runs and signing international players, Tranmere Rovers Football Club successfully returned to the English Football League following a three year absence in May 2018 with a play-off final victory at Wembley Stadium.

Background

Pro-Networks has provided day-to-day IT support to the club since September 2004.

Services have included supplying new PCs, server and infrastructure upgrades, supporting the set up of a new ICT suite, introducing wireless connectivity for all the turnstiles, and upgrading the network in line with the extension and modernisation of the main stand and club shop.

More recently the Pro-Networks team helped develop and implement the infrastructure and connectivity solution at the club’s £multi-million Solar Campus training facility in Wallasey, Merseyside.

From segmenting the network to allow journalists and the ICT suite access to the network in a protected ‘sandboxed’ area, to helping implement a meshed wireless network to connect all turnstiles for match day access, Pro-Networks continues to deliver reliable, sustainable and cost-effective systems.

All solutions have been researched and implemented to Tranmere’s exact requirements within budget and agreed timescales.
