The Great British Analogue Switch Off

In 2023 the sales of analogue (PSTN and ISDN) will stop and by 2025 they will be switched off altogether.

This means that within the next four years your business will need to switch to a new method of voice communication if you haven’t already done so.  You will no longer be able to rely on your traditional telephone line for making and receiving telephone calls.

Remembering Harry

It is with the deepest sadness that we advise that our colleague, Harry Robinson passed away peacefully on Saturday 18th September.

Harry joined us in July 2015 and when he started with his illness in October 2020 none of us expected that this would be the last time many of us would see him.

Harry was a very private person but we don’t think he would mind us sharing a few thoughts about him.

Windows 11 to be launched on 5th October 2021

Windows 11 is coming.

Microsoft has confirmed this week that the latest version of its flagship operating system, Windows 11, will be released on 5th October 2021.

The new operating system will be available as a free of charge upgrade for compatible Windows 10 PCs and will be shipped with new PCs supplied after this date.

Microsoft aims to phase the rollout of Windows 11 from 5th October and mid-2022 with priority being given to new devices before in-market machines.
