Background

Click approached Pro-Networks in March 2017 when researching alternative solutions to their current in-house IT structure. As part of their review they were keen to understand the range of potential outsourcing options available in the market.  IT companies had been approached who suggested replacing their existing IT infrastructure, without taking the time to understand their needs.  Pro-Networks differed by offering a consultative approach which resonated well with Click’s ethos.

Solution

Pro-Networks performed an onsite IT audit of the current IT estate and made recommendations that would make the network more robust and efficient by repurposing, as opposed to replacing, existing hardware.  Onsite servers were rebuilt in situ with minimal interruption to the business and the entire infrastructure is now managed remotely by Pro-Networks.  A new wireless network has been introduced giving guests access to the internet, but not the network.  Quarterly account reviews take place at Click’s offices where support, service and strategies are discussed and implementation agreed.

Outcome

Moving from a dedicated onsite resource to an outsourced partner need not be a turbulent process.  By working closely with Click, Pro-Networks have helped make sure the transition has been a smooth one.  Having access to a certified, highly skilled, customer focused team at the fraction of the cost of a dedicated onsite resource has benefited Click by providing greater security, improved visibility and improved service efficiencies while delivering cost savings.
