Steve Caunce Limited is a specialist environmental, industrial drainage and pump company with over 30 years’ experience and an extensive portfolio of blue chip clients.

The client base features high-profile commercial property management companies, managing agents and property maintenance companies who have high expectations and requirements. This includes partnering with housing associations, supermarkets, fast food chains, breweries, commercial, retail and private properties.

Providing a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 day a year service, the Steve Caunce team has have the capacity to travel anywhere in the UK on both planned maintenance and reactive work.


Steve Caunce Ltd realised that its server and IT estate network needed an upgrade and after a competitive quoting process, it was Pro-Networks that was selected in March 2018 to take over on-going responsibility for their entire IT support function.

Audit, Plan, Act

After gaining detailed knowledge of the customer’s IT infrastructure, needs and challenges, all the significant project milestones were planned and agreed in advance.

Our team of highly-qualified and experienced engineers then set to work replacing the server and seamlessly transferring every item of software and every piece of data from the old server to the new.

Every aspect of the work was undertaken as part of a carefully-managed process that featured daily updates with the customer and verification at every stage of the process.  Office PCs were also replaced.

At no point was any inconvenience caused to the Steve Caunce team and neither was there any disruption to business. The moral of the story is that transferring from one IT support provider to another really can be quick, convenient and problem-free!

We also installed our standard data back-up programme, one of the most robust and reliable on the market that virtually guarantees our clients are able to retrieve data after months or even years.

Microsoft Office 365

The next stage of the project was to introduce Microsoft Office 365 into the system which delivers significant advantages to the email function. 

Instead of being reliant on an internal server for email services, Office 365 takes the service on to the Cloud which means that every member of the Steve Caunce team can now send and receive emails from any location, not just from their own desk in the office.  This boosts flexibility and efficiency.

It’s a solution that’s also simpler, more efficient in terms of maintenance needs, and reliable with the added bonus that only the very latest software will ever be in use.
