Cheshire-based Ellis Whittam provides employment law, HR and Health & Safety support services to employers of every size and from every sector throughout the UK. Established in 2004 by leading solicitor Mark Ellis, the business still operates to the same principles of quality, value and a personalised service that it was founded on.

Background

Pro-Networks’ relationship with the company dates back to those early days when it installed Ellis Whittam’s first-ever server.  The relationship has grown and flourished as both businesses continued to grow both in size and success. That original server has been replaced on several occasions.

Solution

Over the years the Pro-Networks team has provided, updated and replaced all Ellis Whittam’s IT infrastructure, as well and installing a CRM system and providing all the required training.

More recently, the customer’s email service has been migrated to the latest version and a disaster recovery solution has been implemented.

Outcome

Even though Ellis Whittam created and still operates its own in-house IT team, Pro-Networks remains a respected, valued and trusted partner with our engineers regularly attending and contributing to the customer’s IT management meetings.

The relationship is a case study in how a business’ in house IT team can work together with and benefit from a dedicated external IT service provider.
