Remembering Harry
Published 23 Sep 2021

It is with the deepest sadness that we advise that our colleague, Harry Robinson passed away peacefully on Saturday 18th September.

Harry joined us in July 2015 and when he started with his illness in October 2020 none of us expected that this would be the last time many of us would see him.

Harry was a very private person but we don’t think he would mind us sharing a few thoughts about him.

Harry was a genuinely sweet guy, very well-spoken and polite. A genuine credit to the brains that we have at Pro-Networks, he was always one of the smartest in the room. He had a sharp wit, and he was never really without a smile. Even up until the end he was always so positive.

Harry served in the RAF before he joined us. This is where he met his husband Kevin, who shared Harry's passions. Harry was a big Star Trek nerd and a fan of the early Simpsons episodes. They enjoyed craft beers, their cars and of course Harry loved technology. It is nice that there are still echoes of his presence in the office, previous problems that he has worked on fixing or little quotes that live on through the team.

We know our customers and partners that knew Harry will share our shock and loss. Harry will be sorely missed by all at Pro-Networks and everyone that knew him.

Harry died from stage 4 bowel cancer and despite being well below the age where tests are routinely done he was keen that people are aware of the signs and the knowledge that if detected early, this terrible disease is very treatable.

May he Rest In Peace.
