    A finance expert from Chester has joined the Pro-Networks Ltd board.

    Karen Newbury, a successful and highly-experienced management accountant, is a Governor at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and a non-executive director with Denbighshire-based MHC (UK) Ltd; one of the UK’s top 50 providers of support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues and autism.

    Karen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). She is a membership assessor and a continuing professional development (CPD) assessor for the institute and serves on its professional standards committee.

    Much of her career has been spent in the NHS, working across Cheshire and Merseyside in various roles including Assistant Director of Finance for Liverpool PCT and latterly Head of Contacting for a CCG.  

    Karen is also a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
