Our Green Policy
We’ve taken a long, hard look at the way we operate and wherever possible have taken all possible steps to make sure that we’re doing everything we can to save energy, cut waste and reduce our carbon footprint. Are we perfect? Who is? Are we committed to a greener, more environmentally friendly business? Certainly. And while others talk Green, we’ve actually put together a detailed action plan, a Green Manifesto that we pursue each and every day.
Call it corporate social responsibility; call it doing the right thing; whichever way you want to look at it, Green business is good business. Good for all of us.
It also makes hard economic sense. Our Green policy saves us thousands of pounds a year in heating, lighting and fuel-savings that we pass on to you with lower prices and improved service.
80% of our hardware is supplied by Dell, a carbon neutral manufacturer with world-class recycling and environmental policies.
If we can solve a technical issue without jumping in a van to do it, we will. Over 90% of our support is provided remotely.
All our vehicles are bought based on their fuel efficiency and manufacturer’s commitment to environmental policy.
Less paper where possible. For example, all our brochures and other documentation are now provided in electronic form.
All packaging and waste materials from materials delivered to our premises are either re-used or recycled.
New heat exchanger technology warms our premises. Simple, energy efficient extractor fans cool.
Healthy bodies, healthy minds, healthy planet.
Are we missing anything?
